I got married at the beginning of March.  I know that it an unusual date to have a wedding but that is just how things worked out with work and family schedules.  It was actually kind of nice.  The last few weddings that I was in or at were in the summer and it was so stinking hot!  I was in my friend’s wedding last June in New York State.  She had it outside in a state park.  Trust me, you don’t know misery until you’ve been standing outside for four hours in a bridesmaid’s dress in 90 degree heat.  Fun!

Anyway, the point of all of that was that my bridesmaids and I didn’t have to suffer through sweltering heat.  What I did have to suffer through was all of my bridesmaids complaining that they were going to look terrible in the wedding pictures because they weren’t going to be tan.  This got me to thinking about how I was going to look in my wedding dress if I was all pasty and white.

As a gift to all of my bridesmaids, I decided to get them a tanning package at a local salon.  I gave them their gift about a month and a half before the wedding.  I wrapped up a bottle of this awesome suntan lotion that I found  and I put the tanning package certificate in the bag with the lotion.  They were all really excited about the tanning and the lotion that I got them is the best tanning lotion ever.  It smells great and helps you to get an even tan.  And it was totally worth it because we all look great in the wedding pictures!
