The First Step Is The Hardest

One of my best friends who is my age (low forties) recently decided to have a smile makeover. I know his teeth have bothered him for as long as I have known him. Not in the way like where they hurt or something though. He just doesn’t have an attractive smile because his teeth are all crooked.
So his first step was to go to see a cosmetic dentist. He was afraid that they were going to suggest some kind of major reconstructive surgery, and that had kept him from walking through that door for a long time. But once he did go, he found out that he was a candidate for braces. So for the past few months now he has had a mouth full of metal. And as a side bonus he has lost some weight because he is totally not in the mood to eat!
Anyway, I know the biggest step for him was taking that first walk into the dentist’s office. From here on out, the rest of the steps will be easy. The guy he goes to uses some new computer technology that speeds up the process, so he should be done with braces in a year. In fact, my buddy is already talking about the next step he is going to take which is porcelain veneers.
