When I was in my late teens and early 20s, I had some crazy friends that I’d party with all the time.  We’d often go on wild camping trips, where we’d drink and play paintball and airsoft games.  Companies like Tokyo Marui and Echo 1 make some pretty realistic looking airsoft guns, so of course that was one of the guys’ favorite things to do on these trips.

I remember the first camping trip I ever went on.  It was for the Fourth of July, and a couple of the guys blew their paychecks on airsoft guns right before we went.  They spent the entire trip shooting at random stuff, and blew through a whole lot of ammo before the 3-day weekend ended.

Some of those friends still ask me to go camping with them and join in their airsoft games sometimes, but I’ve never taken them up on it.  Some things are just better left to the past; I’m not a party girl anymore, and I don’t think I could ever live that life again, not even for just a weekend.
