I have a son on the football team of a local high school. They have a number of fundraising events during the year. Some of the other parents came up with the idea of selling items imprinted with the name of the team as a promotional idea.  They certainly did their homework - they discovered a product imprinting service which was available through an online discount school supply the school uses to get classroom supplies, obtained the price breakdowns for different designs, and we decided to work with the school place an order and try it out.  We had some pens and stationery imprinted and the kids took on the job of selling them.

The stuff proved to be a hit, not only within the school, but around town.  Some stores offered to sell our stuff without taking any kind of cut - the football team has a lot of support in town and people are glad to help us out.

We’ll be getting more stuff imprinted because we ran out quickly. 

I visited the online school supply myself out of curiosity and could see why the school likes doing business with them.  They do a great job with the imprinting service and the football team has been very successful raising the funds they need for the season - they even have a surplus.
