A mediator is a person that acts as a negotiator to help two parties resolve a dispute. Whether a dispute is in a professional capacity or personal, mediators can help you resolve your differences and find a workable solution that is best for all parties involved. Divorce Phoenix shows you how you can get a divorce using a mediator rather than an attorney. Once an attorney becomes involved, it is not only a matter of your interests at stake. There is now the matter of which attorney wins the case - and all attorneys want their cases to end in the win category.
Once you have added that extra facet, sometimes the interests of the two parties get lost in the battle. This can be very stressful, especially when children are involved. Arizona mediation provides out of court solutions for you to get your divorce settled with less stress and less expense. Unlike attorneys, mediators have different backgrounds. Mediators have backgrounds in law, psychology, and business, which enable them to help a divorcing couple resolve legal and financial issues as well as deal with emotional issues such as anger and sadness. As people become more aware of the environment and the harm we’ve done it, not to mention as the price of harmful things like gasoline skyrockets, the green movement is growing — like a weed, except this one is a good weed! If you’re interested in having a green wedding, here are some ideas for environmentally friendly wedded bliss.
Get a wedding website. These are really popular because a lot of people enjoy keeping blogs and creating websites. Also, though, you can use the website to relay information such as wedding announcements, accommodations for out-of-towners, reception information, RSVP, etc. People still like getting paper invitations in the mail but at least this way you can count on how much paper you have to put in the envelope, as all of those things usually require a separate card.
Try DIY wedding invitations. When you make your wedding invitations yourself, you ensure that they weren’t made in a sweatshop overseas. Maybe you can even incorporate recycled materials into your invitation — or use all recycled paper. A lot of contemporary wedding invitations use collage-like designs. It’s fun to be creative about it and try to find ways to save the environment and still have your invitations, too!
Buy secondhand — and encourage your guests to, as well! I had a 1920s-themed wedding, so everyone came in vintage costumes. Some were rented, some were bought at secondhand stores, but I can guarantee that all of them were much more fun to put together than a brand-new, store-bought outfit, anyway!
Just because you’re getting married doesn’t mean you have to forget about being environmentally friendly. What other ways can you think of to make your wedding green?
I own a horse, and I work off his board by mucking stalls at the barn where he’s at. The other day when I was shoveling manure in the semi-private pasture, I ran across a bright orangey-red plastic BB, such as from an airsoft gun.
I was instantly furious. Who would do such a thing as shoot at horses? I’m sure whoever it is probably likes the reaction — they probably get the horses racing around in a panic, which can be pretty to see but is also just plain mean. I read once in one of my horse magazines that one of the biggest problems people with horse property run into is the lack of understanding from non-horsey neighbors, but honestly, I never thought even non-horse people would do something like this!
I wish I knew what kind of gun they came from, as that could probably help me figure out who it was who did it — and then would I ever give them a piece of my mind! Someone more familiar with airsoft might be able to tell me, for example, if the pellet is the kind used in KWA airsoft or Tokyo Marui guns. I, on the other hand, have no clue, so my only option will be catch the jerk red-handed!
I’ve always enjoyed writing and making up stories. When I was in elementary school — probably about fourth grade — I put together a little book with four different stories about our naughty young cat, Casey.
One of the stories was about something that took place when we went skiing one weekend day. It was near Christmas, and my sister and I had put our old, smaller Christmas tree up in one of the upstairs bedrooms as our own personal tree, while the newer, bigger family tree graced the living room as usual.
Back in those days, we always got up pretty early to go skiing. My dad was on ski patrol and typically had to be there pretty early, so my mom had to haul us out of bed and dress us in our childrens ski clothes half-asleep. She’d dress us in our long underwear, turtlenecks, and sweaters, and then we could sleep in the car on the way up to the ski slopes. The heavier ski clothes, such as our kids ski pants and kids snowboard jackets, could wait until we got to the slopes.
Anyway, when we got home from skiing this particular day, we found that the little Christmas tree had been knocked over and the ornaments strewn all over the place. We’re not sure if he tried to climb the tree or if he just got too excited while playing with the ornaments, but unfortunately one ornament did break.
Casey just passed away a couple of years ago, and in his old age he was far beyond this kind of playfulness. But it’s still nice to think back on his antics when he was still a cute little kitten!
You want to own your own home. No one can blame you for that. Home ownership is an important step towards freedom and financial security. However, as we have all learned with the turn in the housing market, home ownership comes with its risks. In order to be able to mitigate those risks, you’ll want to try to find the best mortgages before you forge ahead with buying a home.
One of the keys to finding the best mortgage rates is to take the time to shop around. Many people go to only one mortgage lender without taking the time to see what the competition is like. Look online and locally to find the best mortgage rates and don’t settle for rates that you honestly believe are too high.
The other important key to finding the best home mortgage rates is to make sure that you understand the different types of mortgages that are available to you. Fixed rate mortgages are the preferred choice for most home buyers but you may find that other options make more sense given your personal financial status. Really take a look at all of your options, discussing them with a professional that you trust. Patience and a little bit of research can go a long way towards making home ownership a reality for you.
