Divorce Mediation Works

workout-couple-fightingDivorce mediation is a tool that many couples have that they do not know about it. Perhaps the couple is struggling to make financial related decisions. Others may be concerned with their children and making decisions about living arrangements. It is a difficult process regardless of how to go through it, but one thing is for sure. These very specific and very detailed changes in your life should be changes that you have decided on rather than a complete stranger who is judging your case. Rather than let a group of strangers make decisions about your life, why not work through the process with an attorney instead.

When it comes to mediation Phoenix does have some of the best professionals to help out. In this process, both sides of the divorce have representation, fairly, but there is one thing that is unique. The two parties come together to find a solution rather than sending the situation off to a court where a judge will make the final decisions. Even though you may not feel that you and your spouse can come to an agreement on the divorce, chances are good you can when you use these professionals for a divorce without lawyers Scottsdale.

So, is mediation sort of like a pretrial conference where all parties get together and iron out the details? If both parties are represented by someone who does the moderating?

I have a friend who works with one of the mediation attorneys in the north valley and she raves about how much it helps the couples settle even the most minor details. It is amazing to me that almost anything can spark a dispute in a divorce case, Anything that helps to prevent that is OK in my book.

There is no such thing as a simple divorce, or so I discovered. My ex and I agreed on everything when it came to division of property and settlement until we actually sat down to do the paperwork. If we had a service like this we might be talking today…..

How much authority do they have? If you and your soon to be ex get into a heated debate over who gets the cat do they have any way of forcing a decision? I’m just not sure it would work in every case.
